We are seeking an Experienced Financial Professional for a Senior Accountant role in the Controlling and Finance Financing Americas Finance (CF F FIN AM) function within Siemens Capital Company LLC.

This person will support the daily and monthly treasury & general accounting operations for all CF F AM product lines including the periodic closing processes. Other areas that the role will be working on include income tax accounting & reporting matters and Risk & Internal Control (RIC) areas. In addition, strong technical skills are needed to support further digitalization and automation efforts within the Group which will include working with all CF F FIN AM departments and on special projects.

You will make impact with the following responsibilities:

Support the North American Treasury Center’s accounting, systems and processes for cash and intercompany (ICC) transactions including related matters. Complete monthly and periodic Bank Reconciliations for numerous bank and clearing accounts. Ensure completion of periodic Income Tax accounting, compliance and reporting. Support the General Accounting area including AR/Billings, AP, T&E, Payroll, ICC, etc. transactions. Prepare various financial reports to deliver defined information on key data to stakeholders and management. Facilitate financial data retrieval from accounting systems for various stakeholders. Liaison with CFF Product Lines, GBS Accounting Services and CF Tax as needed. Identify treasury & general accounting areas that can utilize further digitalization solutions and work with FIN AM Staff to implement more efficient processes and procedures where needed. Includes creating and updating documentation where needed and necessary. Work on, lead and coordinate special projects and / or other assignments (including periodic risk and internal control testing) as delegated by management. Ability to work within a cross-functional team environment will be required to achieve success in this role.

Required Knowledge/ Skills, Education, and Experience

B.S. / B.A. in Accounting or Finance 7+ years of experience with the following: Accounting and / or financial reporting experience required, Financial Services / Banking Industry experience is a plus A background in finance is beneficial, including a solid understanding of financial processes and requirements. Strong analytical, communication and time management skills. Financial modeling abilities a plus. Ability to work with experienced finance professionals and senior management in a fast-paced environment. Must be flexible and able to work independently. Must be proven in meeting deadlines. Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office products (specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint), SAP General Ledger & Hyperion (HFM) knowledge required. Comprehensive knowledge, strong Aptitude and history using Visualization Software (ex. Tableau). In addition, a working knowledge/ understanding of statistical/Data Analytics programming languages/ platforms/ software (ex. Alteryx, Power BI) are a plus.Must be authorized to work in the US without need of sponsorship now or in the future.

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
