Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accounting Manager to join our team located in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, United States. The individual in this role will be tasked with managing critical accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and contributing to strategic financial planning. Responsibilities • Ensure efficient and accurate processing of journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger analysis. • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies through the approval of critical transactions and the maintenance of robust internal controls. • Manage the setup and maintenance of vendor records, aligning with tax compliance requirements in our accounting system and Concur. • Supervise the approval and audit of business travel expense reports in Concur, ensuring they align with travel policy guidelines. • Oversee the review and filing of quarterly VAT returns, year-end US and UK tax returns, and year-end withholding statements for contractors. • Act as the main contact for external audits, ensuring accurate and timely finalization of working papers and financial statements. • Monitor contractual obligations and payments, ensuring compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements. • Continually evaluate and enhance accounting processes and internal controls to minimize risk and improve operational efficiency. • Lead, manage, and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations. • Assign responsibilities and projects within the team to optimize workload and drive efficiency, while ensuring adherence to deadlines. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role such as Accounting Manager or Supervisor. • Proficiency in NetSuite accounting software is a must. • Demonstrated expertise in maintaining and managing General Ledger. • Proven ability in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation. • Experience in preparing and analyzing Income Statements. • Familiarity with Month End Close procedures. • Experience in conducting Year End Closings.
