Job Summary: 

Supports general Administrative duties of the office, Human Resources, Environmental Health & Safety and Distribution

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Assists HR Generalist with the full cycle process of recruitment and onboarding. Assists in supporting all administrative duties in the office of HR, EH&S and Distribution, ensuring that the office is operating smoothly Supports daily Distribution administration to include fuel tally, transport schedule, updating DOT files, ProMiles/Fuel errors Samsara HOS reviews, Random Drug Testing Program, CHEP Pallet compliance, Maintain and distribute daily crate inventories, Maintain driver database with license, personal & medical data, Daily route balancing/load planning and Communicate and coordinate outgoing loads in partnership with the warehouse Provides day to day support and works as a liaison between our team members and leadership teams. Assist with all internal/external audit requirements. Supports office operations and procedures such as payroll, filing systems, requisition of supplies, completion of driver paperwork, Update/Post daily/weekly driver communications Keeps track of clerical, personnel, safety and training records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. Assists in planning and executing employee activities that foster meaningful connection to the Company and site (luncheons, celebrations, United Way Campaigns, Open Enrollment & Wellness Activities, safety activities, committees, Assist with update and posting of monthly EHS/HR reports and metrics. Collect and track monthly near miss reporting Assists in managing Worker’s Compensation administrative process Participate on the site safety committee and provide administrative support to the team Administer new hire orientation to include safety orientation for incoming employees. Other Misc. duties as delegated by supervisor or manager

Education and Experience: 

High school Diploma or general education degree (GED)  1-3 years administrative support of EHS/HR experience or related experience

Skills and Competencies:  

Adaptability:  Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.  Change Management:  Develops workable implementation plans.  Communication:  Strong written and verbal communication.  Organization:  Strong organizational skills Initiative/Drive:  Demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles.  Project Management:   Coordinates projects.  Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point & Publisher). Proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
