Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Administrative Assistant in the non-profit industry, located in DAYTON, Ohio. As a Sr. Administrative Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our organization, managing all incoming calls, scheduling, and maintaining internal communications.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and field incoming phone calls for multiple organizations, providing information and assistance as needed
• Play a key role in maintaining organization's public image as the front face of the office
• Efficiently handle the receipt and sorting of all incoming mail
• Process membership payments and manage credit card machine
• Answer general inquiries about the various events and activities within the building
• Manage room scheduling for various rooms within the building, ensuring effective distribution of materials
• Utilize Adobe InDesign for the creation and distribution of various publications
• Maintain and manage rental contracts for various events
• Ensure all event requirements are met, including signed contracts and insurance certificates
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PDF, and Google applications
• Participate in the creation, proofreading, and preparation of bimonthly publications.

Requirements • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective internal and external interactions
• Proficient in handling conference calls, including the ability to manage multiple participants and troubleshoot technical issues
• Experience with scheduling appointments and calendar management, ensuring smooth operation of daily activities
• Capability to operate a multi-line phone system, directing calls to appropriate parties and handling inquiries
• Familiarity with collecting payments, including processing credit card transactions and managing cash payments, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign for creating and editing digital and print materials
• Ability to manage internal communications, keeping all team members informed and updated on relevant information TalentMatch®
