Sr. Advanced Quality Engineer 

As a Sr. Advanced Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of our Quality Management System (QMS). You will be responsible for implementing the QMS strategy, maintaining and improving our QMS work processes, and ensuring compliance with our quality processes, standards, and procedures.  Your expertise will be valuable for establishing quality metrics and driving the development of new quality procedures and work processes across disciplines, including engineering, project management, and commercial sales, to drive continuous improvement across the team in support of business objectives.  

Your expertise in quality management systems and attention to detail will be instrumental in driving compliance and alignment across the LNG functional teams to ensure that our products and processes meet the highest standards of quality.

You will report directly to our Director, Project & Quality and you'll work out of our Allentown, PA location on a hybrid work schedule after 90 days.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the quality and compliance of our organization. Your responsibilities will include:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System in alignment with business objectivesConduct internal audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvementDrive corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformitiesProvide training and support to employees on quality processes and proceduresEnsure maintenance of ISO 9001 and other required certificationsSupport development of Quality procedures and work processes across disciplines Establish and report out Quality metrics, including tracking of associated root cause analyses, corrections, and improvement initiativesOwn Management of Change (MOC) systemSupport knowledge architecture of business disciplines (e.g., document creation, revision, and storage, intellectual property protection)

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, specifically ISO 9001:2015 compliance requirements
• Proficient Computer Skills, specifically with the Microsoft suite of tools
• Proven Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing project requirements

• Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification
• Experience in leading QMS implementation and improvement projects

• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

THE BUSINESS UNIT

The Honeywell Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Manufacturing and Design Engineering organization designs and manufactures specialized Coil Wound Heat Exchangers and other natural gas liquefaction equipment. The equipment is designed by our engineering teams and fabricated at our manufacturing facility in Port Manatee, FL, or other domestic and international 3rd party facilities. Our customers use this equipment to liquefy extracted natural gas, massively improving its transportability as an energy source to end users around the world.
