Sr. Advisor, Data Governance & Validation - Forsyth Health - Remote
**Role and Responsibilities** The Business Analytics Senior Advisor will be responsible for Data Governance and Validation by ensuring the accuracy, quality, and integrity of data within the Forsyth organization. The Senior Advisor will provide guidance based on experience and knowledge and will play a key role in decision making, problem solving and strategic planning. + Define guidelines for data accuracy, completeness, consistency and format across all data sources. + Implement procedures to actively detect and clean inconsistencies, duplicates, missing values and other data quality problems. + Develop and enforce policies related to data access, usage and retention. + Continuously monitor data quality metrics. Generate reports and visualizations to identify issues and track improvements. + Document data lineage, tracking the origin and movement of data throughout the organization to understand its provenance and potential downstream impact. + Educate Forsyth data users on data governance policies, data quality expectations and best practices for handling data. **Qualifications** + 8+ years of healthcare experience in data governance, data validation or similar role. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. + Adapt to a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, solve problems, and make decisions with minimal oversight. + Proficiency in data management tools and platforms: SQL or Python and Databricks + Ability to identify and prioritize opportunities for impact, develop analytic solutions and leverage technology. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly and openly communicate status, issues/risks, and challenges presented to a project.
