We are currently recruiting for the position of: 

Sr. Analyst, Application System - Modesto, CA

The Senior Analyst Application System acts as a subject matter expert and administrator of store systems data and related solutions.  The position works with the Director, Senior Manager and the Senior Developers of Retail Applications to answer business questions, and subsequently translate that information into requirements for the developers.  The position acts as the first line of review and testing for developed solutions to help ensure the solution is effective and resolves the issue while looking at the big picture and possible impact to the users. 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: 

•         Coordinate delivery, service, and installation of hardware, software, operating systems for host and at store level

•         Monitor, analyze, and optimize system integrity performance

•         Install version updates and fixes, and sets host and store parameters

•         Maintain and modify store information on systems

•         Maintain list of software and hardware locations and serial numbers

•         Anticipate, prevent, analyze, and resolve system issues

•         Validate  back up procedures and maintain back up integrity and store level

•         Receive and respond to data query requests from the Sr. Manager, Business Team and Senior Developers

•         Create light training materials and train team members when necessary; act as a liaison with the training department on special efforts.

•         Generate meeting notes and action items, which are followed through to resolution

•         Work with the Senior Developers to improve the business tools that provide information to and from store systems, associated solutions and the business

•         Develop a deep and clear understanding of the store systems applications, their role in our business processes, and the data they create

•         Ensure all processes are clearly documented with specifications and workflows

•         Leverage their data knowledge to respond to ad-hoc queries for information, maintain action items, and maintain Mantis Bug Reporting.

•         Define the correct sources and recipients for the data exchanges

•         Define alert procedures and appropriate recipients to handle process errors

•         Keep current on store applications; attends software users conferences when permitted.

•         Perform other duties as assigned

LOCATION: MODESTO, CA.

 

Hiring pay range: $73,652.00 - 96,668.00

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

•         Knowledge of Application development and life cycle concepts.

•         Understands organization’s core business process and operations across departments.

•         Excellent analytical, planning and organizational, time management and problem solving skills

•         Excellent communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and work with people from all departments in the company who have varying degrees of computer/technology knowledge

•         Knowledge of the data, table structure, and origination, as well as identification of potential weaknesses and challenges with the data

•         Understanding of the purpose, contents, timing, and frequency of all the data feeds

Education: 4 Year Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience/training

Experience: Five years of related retail and IT experience

Other:

 Up to 5% travel Must be able to work overtime, when needed. Must be available to provide 24/7 on-call support.
