The primary responsibility of this position includes ensuring complete and accurate accounting and reporting for treasury transactions and externally reported financial information. This position also serves as the liaison between External Reporting and YUM! Treasury. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized individual with an attention to detail. This individual must also be a proactive self-starter and able to manage competing priorities and work well with a wide group of executive level personnel under demanding circumstances. Specific roles and responsibilities may shift based on department needs.
Salary Range: $87,100 to $98,000 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
Period and Quarterly Responsibilities (75%):
Lead accounting for $11 billion debt portfolio, financial instruments and related derivatives – partnering with YUM! Treasury, preparing related journal entries, account reconciliations and management analysis for various corporate level accounts (40%) Support preparation of Form 10-Q and Form 10-K SEC filings –validating financial information, preparing footnotes, MD&A components, XBRL tagging and coordinating quarterly reporting documentation with the external auditors (30%) Manage preparation of unit reporting for consolidated YUM on a period basis (5%)Other Responsibilities (25%):
Assist with various projects and other responsibilities (i.e. digital sales reporting, BEA economic analysis data reporting), including research of new accounting and reporting requirements and assessing their impact on financial systems reporting enhancements needed (10%) Perform SOX compliance duties and testing (10%) Lead ad hoc and formalized bi-annual financial systems logical access reviews as well as assisting with new entity financial systems readiness including functional currency designations (5%)Minimum Requirements:
B.S. in Accounting 3+ years of accounting experience Strong Microsoft Excel experiencePreferred Requirements:
