The successful candidate will be part of a system deployment team with their main responsibilities revolving around deployment and support of bespoke software applications at airports but also providing support and installation for hardware. This role provides day-to-day support of the service along with new solutions and troubleshooting and works closely with other deployment engineers and IT support staff to ensure timely roll outs and the well-being of other infrastructure.

This role is based on site in Tulsa, OK. 

 

What You Will Do: 

Monitoring of systems and implementing required configurations to ensure availability, reliability, adherence to security standards, and optimal system performance. 

Identifying and troubleshooting hardware and software technical problems. 

Plan, design, and implement necessary configurations to bespoke software.

Airport deployments of CUPPS, CUSS, Self Service Bag Drop, AODB / RMS, BRS, Baggage Message systems, Passenger validation and verification systems, eGates. 

Technical support of bespoke applications and offerings of the Collins brand assessment and execution of broadly defined technical tasks that require the use of independence, judgement and creativity. 

Physical server builds. 

Tutors lower-level professionals. 

Develop required documentation for system configuration, and support procedure. 

On call third level support of Collins products either on site or remotely. 

Up to 50% travel is expected; majority will be to US locations, but there is a possibility of some international travel. You must hold a valid US Passport to satisfy the travel requirement. 

 

Qualifications You Must Have: 

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience. 

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. 

Experience with writing SQL queries to extra data from databases. 

Experience with network configuration and management of switches routers, primarily Cisco. 

Experience with software distribution such as Dameware. 

 

Qualifications We Prefer: 

CCNA certification 

Has advanced knowledge of Airport operations. 

Works autonomously with limited oversight from manager. 

Influences others regarding policies, practices and procedures. 

Experience with Microsoft MCSE, MS SQL, networking and Cisco CLI. 

Familiarity with Cloud providers such as AWS and Telco or Service Provider environments.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
