Sr. Analyst, IT Business Systems
Reporting to the Director Technical Services Support, the technology specialist supports the team\u2019s efforts to expand its use of new platforms (primarily "WISP"), connected automation efforts and completes numerous projects that span multiple IT-related efforts. This position primarily manages and supports the implementation of WISP for the team. WISP is an internal tool that our Service Technicians uses to develop service reports, installation reports, order parts, track parts orders, and scheduling upgrades, rebuilds, and major service work for multiple customers. The position requires strong database and application management as well as technical skills to coordinate different disciplines within the Service & Installation department. Primarily, the prospective candidate should have the ability to manage several projects that span multiple engineering disciplines. We will consider candidates with a minimum of 1-2 years\u2019 IT/database experience and will provide development to prepare the candidate to move into roles of greater responsibility within the Service & Installation department. How you will impact WestRock: WISP: * Act as the go to person to correct any bugs in the system * Implement new WISP processes to match the North American team * Continuously improve the current state of WISP based on the list of needs and wants * Lead the spare parts expansion * Determine how to connect WISP with other service tools to reduce the number of data entries (Jobscope, IFS, Windchill, Salesforce, etc.) * Identify how WISP can be used as a project management tool for more extension field service projects (KQRs, installations) * Maintain WISP training materials * Develop KPIs that are pulled directly from WISP to guide RSMs * Create and update reports as needed Connected Automation: * Understand the IoT architecture and work to continuously improve this process * Support device troubleshooting * Develop and maintain analytics dashboards and automated reporting for customers and the service team * Assist the field service team by using the analytics dashboards to identify machine improvements * Work with the IT team on prioritizing connected automation developments to create a roadmap and business case * Support the field service and engineering team on standardizing fault codes and HMIs Non-WISP: * Configure Tech\u2019s IT tools * Work with the service directors to identify IT projects * Maintain the field service teams\u2019 technology needs * Improve the onboarding process of field service technology * Support continuous improvement projects that require IT support * Assist in the transition from Job Scope to IFS (TBD) * Help optimize service technology including the invoicing system and Workforce What you need to succeed: * Bachelor\u2019s degree in an Engineering discipline desired (but not necessary). * Preferred candidate will have 1-2+ years related experience with emphasis on IT application and database projects but will consider a candidate with a minimum of 2 years professional experience that has a strong technical aptitude and ability to develop. * Interpersonal skills such as building close working relationships and minimizing disagreements are important elements. * Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills. * Adaptability to rapidly changing working environments and operational situations. * Aligned with our company values of Integrity, Respect, Accountability, and Excellence What we offer: * Corporate culture based on integrity, respect, accountability, and excellence. * Comprehensive training with numerous learning and development opportunities. * An attractive salary reflects skills, competencies, and potential. * Benefits package to include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k with match, tuition reimbursement, employee discounts, employee referral bonus, and much more! * A career with a global packaging company where Sustainability, Safety and Inclusion are business drivers and foundational elements of the daily work.
