About the role: As a Senior Pricing Analyst for the North America Global Corporate Accounts, you develop competitive, accurate price proposals for the sales team using pricing models, market intelligence, and additional input from relevant stakeholders. The role requires managing complex excel based models and strong engagement with the global GCA team for both pricing and sales. Do you love driving profitability in a fast-paced environment? Key Responsibilities Include: + Create competitive price proposals for the sales team, analyzing historic price, raw material and margin levels to drive profitable growth for your business unit + Develop expertise on the open book pricing model, gaining knowledge on the ingredient markets, identifying methods for continuous improvement and opportunities for margin growth + Present proposals to sales, guide them by utilizing market and internal data to validate and justify proposals + Book sales contracts upon agreement from customers to lock in business + Take pricing ownership of assigned accounts in an independent and proactive way + Proactively manage the contracts for your account portfolio in collaboration with Sales and Customer Service + Develop and manage effective and analytic reporting tools to support the business unit and the organization’s needs + Understand the commodity market fundamentals and gather in-depth knowledge on the chocolate and cocoa manufacturing process in order to improve the pricing process + Actively support local, regional & global pricing projects & initiatives + Develop direct customer relationship and support commercial negotiations + Support wider pricing projects and develop new pricing models + Take on deputy duties from the line manager and support new hires About you: + Fluent in English; Spanish a benefit + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, Business Administration or similar + At least 5 years of experience in a Finance, Commercial or Pricing role + Project management or team lead experience + Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (lookup, index-match, pivot tables, etc.) + Experience working in a manufacturing environment and with SAP + Enthusiastic team member with a willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing business demands and priorities + Customer oriented and strategically and conceptually thinking + Strong analytical and problem solving skills with high attention to detail and can-do attitude + Strong effective communication skills and the ability to interface with various levels of management + Able to balance commercial mindset and global pricing principles + Role model for other team members What you can expect from Barry Callebaut: + Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package + Paid time off, plus generous holiday time + Environment that welcomes workplace flexibility + An atmosphere where diversity is embraced, and inclusivity is second nature.
