We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sr. Support Analyst to join our Shipboard Applications Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining applications for the Food & Beverage Team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide technical support and maintenance for Food & Beverage applications.
Perform application troubleshooting and resolve issues to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Collaborate with onboard and shore-side teams to gather requirements, implement enhancements, and optimize application performance.
Conduct training sessions for onboard staff to ensure effective use of Food & Beverage applications.
Monitor application performance and system health and perform regular updates and maintenance.
Liaise with the shipboard IT department, and business stakeholders to manage application upgrades and support contracts.
Assist in the development and implementation of new features and functionalities to meet operational needs.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
5 - 7 years of prior Application Support experience.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
High level of communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Experienced working with Office 365 applications: PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Can assist Product Health Analysts with technical issues.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel and work onboard a cruise ship for short periods.
Familiarity with SQL databases and report generation
Understanding of network infrastructure and server management
Professional experience with one or more of the following technical disciplines.
(Linux operating systems, including administration and troubleshooting, SQL database knowledge, including an understanding of relational DB concepts, DB design, and stored procedure creation
SQL Server Administration
Network architecture and design, including a strong understanding of DNS, and authentication.
Nice to have Qualifications:
Prior Cruise line experience.
Experience with one or more of the following applications (xDine, Agilisys POS, GHS, or Crunchtime)
