Job Description
The Senior Analyst, Research Cybersecurity and Compliance position serves as an essential team member with expertise in the development, implementation, and management of data security policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring the protection of sensitive data across multiple linked data sources. While this role is particularly focused on the safeguarding of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) data, opportunities to engage with other compliance frameworks, regulations, and laws will be plentiful The Info Security Analyst Sr. will support the Arizona Housing Analytics Collaborative (AzHAC) team (50% FTE) and various stakeholders, including IT staff and data-sponsor agencies, to ensure compliance. Time not dedicated to specific projects will be allocated to developing security standards, advising research teams on security issues, and responding to security-related support requests.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Biomedical Informatics or a related field with a focus on data management and analytics (master's degree preferred)
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data security, with a focus on PII and HIPAA data management.
Knowledge of data protection regulations, including HIPAA and CMMC, experience in developing and implementing data security policies and procedures in a multi-disciplinary organization mplete project tasks and goals related to data security. The position may also involve responding to data security needs outside of regular business hours. Experience with process to manage housing health and related data
Experience with data approvals and agreements for multi-sector collaboration null
