**Job Purpose and Summary:**
Carries out reviews of general contracts to verify compliance with contractual obligations, lessen legal risks, and support effective contract management processes. Leads contract negotiation processes by collaborating with internal stakeholders and external parties.
**Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:**
Responsibilities
+ Under general supervision, reviews contracts to prevent potential disputes and financial risks.
Ensures that contract terms comply with legal requirements and policies to generate contracts that adhere to company and legal protocol.
+ Examines contract clauses, liabilities, stipulations, and obligations, and recommends and drafts provisions and amendments to fortify contracts.
+ Advises internal departments on innovative or cost-effective ways to comply with their contractual obligations to improve company operations.
+ Analyzes actual monthly expenses against contract obligations during the regular monthly close cycle and prepares monthly contract journal entries.
+ Assists leadership in negotiating contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement with other parties.
+ Serves as a primary liaison between legal, procurement, senior management, and other key stakeholders in the contract preparation process for vendors and clients.
+ Conducts routine reviews of junior-level team members' work to ensure contracts are being generated and edited per the company's contracting standards.
+ Implements review and editing techniques within the team to streamline and improve contract processes.
**Minimum (Required) Qualifications**
+ +2 years of customer facing experience
+ Valid drivers’ license and able to provide proof of insurance, if driving
+ CRM proficiency, preferably Salesforce
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Established success in client/account management field
+ Excellent customer service skills, knowing the appropriate time to be consultative vs solve a problem or fill a need
+ Proven success utilizing project management skills; ability to track and manage issues, ensure the right teams are engaged, and facilitate comprehensive and timely issue resolution
+ Ability to creatively solve problems when dealing with a multitude of variables where standard resolutions do not exist
+ Track record of performing under pressure, adapting to changing dynamics, and finding solutions that lead to client satisfaction
+ Effective presentation skills with the ability to make group presentations to promote client satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Web applications
+ Past industry-related experience preferred
**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $91,800.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
