Responsibilities

Role Purpose:

The main focus is about Data Protection/Data Loss Prevention (DLP) within the organization. Securing data is a critical role with the Cyber-Security team. 

 

What you will do:

Will project manage existing and new security tools and solutions. This includes reviews of upcoming Data security solutions, designing and implementing security solutions that best fit the organization.Maintaining various Data Loss Prevention (DLP) reports. Handling of incoming tickets.Assist in projects with broad implications on DLP requiring systems integration of one or more technical platforms. May Lead design sessions by presenting logical statements of business problems and designs.Basic understanding of Firewall technologies and how DLP integrates. Understanding SSL packet decryption.Conducts diagnosis of most business problems. Designs, directs and performs analyses to resolve complex first-time project issues including analysis of technical and economic feasibility of proposed system solutions.Diagnosis and troubleshoot daily security alerts with both immediate and long-term results to better optimize issues needing solutions as they rise.Responsible for protecting an organization's computer systems and networks by identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, monitoring for threats, and responding to security incidents, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data across the IT infrastructure.Understand SIEM and XSOAR implementations and how to work with them.Understanding user rights access and least-privileged solutions.Solid understanding of Google DLP. 
Requirements

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
