We are actively seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Performance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the PMO Centre of Excellence, you will contribute to ongoing portfolio planning, analysis, and process improvements within the organization. You will analyze, measure, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive business performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, assess operational efficiency, and provide actionable insights that will help shape strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate will be a self- motivated individual with a strong analytical background, expertise in data analysis and visualization, and the ability to communicate complex insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

What you'll be doing:

Data Collection & Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive PMO reports and dashboards that provide insights into business performance with an expertise in Excel, JIRA, PowerApps, and Power BI to conduct data analysis. Develop meaningful dashboards, KPIs, and reports to support effective decision-making ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Performance Analysis: Analyze business and operational data to evaluate key performance metrics across multiple departments, ensuring alignment with Rogers PMO COE goals.

Strategic Insights: Partner with business leaders to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on performance data and trends.

Trend Identification: Track and identify emerging trends, performance anomalies, or areas of underperformance, providing early warnings and solutions.

Process Improvement: Actively support the rollout of new COE processes, standards, best practices, tools, and techniques. Lead small projects in partnership with the internal team, as needed, to drive continuous improvement in performance measurement processes & tools..

Forecasting & Predictive Analysis: Conduct predictive analytics to forecast performance trends, helping business units proactively adjust strategies.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Position the CoE as a trusted partner by striving for excellence and communicating with conviction. Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders, including senior leadership, using clear, concise, and data-driven communication. Actively participate in the Project Management Community of Practice.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Finance, Operations, and IT to ensure performance data is accurate, consistent, and aligned across the organization.

Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc analysis as needed to support business decisions or address urgent performance concerns.

 

What you'll bring:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or a related field (master's degree and or PMP preferred).

Experience: 5+ years of experience in performance analysis, data analysis, or business intelligence roles, preferably in a corporate or consultancy environment.

Technical Skills:

Expert knowledge of PowerBI as a developer & consultant, with advanced knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, etc.).

Proficiency in data analysis programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.

Advanced knowledge of tools (e.g., Excel, SharePoint, Confluence, EasyBI, PowerApps, Power BI, Oracle, SmartView, JIRA).

Strong understanding of business intelligence concepts and metrics.

 

Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret large datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.

Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically.

Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Highly motivated with demonstrable leadership attributes.

Extremely diligent and attentive to details.

Effective communicator at all levels with excellent English writing skills.

Ability to cope under pressure and balance multiple priorities.

Strong understanding of project management and IT governance (e.g., ITIL, PMBO, Scrum).

Working towards Certification or is certified in one skill area (e.g., Six Sigma, SAFe, Lean Portfolio Manager, etc.).

Strong understanding of financial planning and budgeting desired.
