Provide our internal and external customers with viable integration solutions through software development. The Integration Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing & establishing software integration processes while maintaining complex software build systems. Communicating internally and externally the requirements and needs of the integration process.
General Functions & Specific Responsibilities
Build integration solutions for Rest API, OPC, CODESYS and other solutions.Develop performing and scalable integrations using technologies such as C+ C# .NET; With a focus on microservice driven architecture covering all aspects of SDLC.Apply integration practices such as message routing, filtering, data enrichment (transformation/translation), batch processing, encoding, correlation, error handling, and reconciliation mechanisms to deliver the required business functionality and machinery integration. Work with OEM, Lead Developers, and Business Analysts to deliver Integration solutions.Integrate new customers & internal partners as well as migrate existing partners and their connected automation. Collaborate on assigned special projects, including migrating from different integration applications, upgrading process versions, and ensuring seamless transitions and successful implementation.Create project-related documents such as technical specifications, process flow diagrams, and update stakeholders.Demonstrate the ability to execute projects independently and within a team setting to foster synergy and successful outcomes.Perform, assist and/or support other duties as assigned.Ability to legally travel both domestically and internationally ~50%.Connected Automation resource for machine reporting of KPI’s.Custom software solutions utilizing java and or scripting.

V. Knowledge and Skills Required
Experience in developing code for different integrations such as real-time, file-based, asynchronous, synchronous, extract transform and load (ETL) and APIsAbility to develop multiple integrations from a reusable microservices driven architecture.Experience with data standards and communication protocols; XML/XSLT/XSD, JSON, Flat File, Positional, Delimited, EDI, OAuth, HTTP/SOAP/REST, JMS, AMQP, FTP, sFTP, AS2, TwinCatComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentPrevious exposure to Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
VI. Scope & Impact of Position Responsibilities
Scope: Responsible for integrating customer solutions with our new and existing equipment.Impact: Results of service directly affect the Quality and Reputation of our business and has a direct influence upon Westrock profitability.Travel to customer sites for design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
VIII. Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.2 or more years of work experience in software development or building system integrations using C++, C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, Node, React, Typescript, CODESYS, REST API, Java, MQTT2 or more years of experience in using relational & non-relational databases such as Azure SQL, or Cosmos
