Work with key client stakeholders to define business processesGather functional and technical system requirements & Effort estimationSetup client side architecture, install software, and configure for high performance and scalabilityRequirement Analysis Application architecture, High Level DesignModeling key business processes using AppianDesign and implement BPM based solutions using Appian BPM softwareProvide demonstrations to clients throughout the entire project life-cycleDesign and implement complex enterprise integrations with industry standard technologies: Oracle, LDAP, Active Directory, and moreLead teams of Appian Consultants, Partner Resources, and Client Resources on project related tasks ensuring delivery dates are metContribute to Appian Online Community by developing reusable product extensions and by writing knowledge articles based on project experienceDrive BPM adoption within client organizations by empowering client resource to become self-sufficient with building process applications on their ownAssist clients in identifying other business process opportunities that could be targeted with Appian's software

Job Description

Required Experience

8-10+ years  related experience in ITExperienced as an Architect for full life cycle development involving analysis, design (System/OO), development, deployment, testing, documentation, implementation & maintenance of application software in Web-based environment, Distributed n-tier architecture and Client/Server architecture.4- 6 year of experience in process based application development using Appian BPM platform or any other BPM PlatformExperience or working knowledge in each of the following technologies: JEE Application Servers - JBoss, Weblogic, WebSphere . Web Servers - Apache, IIS; Operating Systems - Windows, Red Hat Linux, AIX; Other technologies / languages - SQL, JavaScript, Web Services, ESB, StrutsExperience with configuration, deployment, and testing of enterprise software applicationsIn-depth working knowledge of J2EE Application and Web Servers including BEA WebLogic 8.1 and 9.2, Websphere 6.1, Apache Tomcat.Experience  in application integration using  Tibco EMS/ Websphere MQ /Webservice (SOPA & REST)Experience in Relational Database Management Systems including Oracle /IBM DB2/ MySQL/ MSSQLStrong communication and presentation skillsStrong problem solving and design skillsA minimum of a BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant field is preferred.Articulate and knowledgeable with the financial industry.

Preferred Qualification

Prior software consulting experience, ideally in a Portal, BPM, DM or EAI related settingProject Management skills (Risk Management, Scope Management, Change Control, etc.)Server Architecture experience dealing with high availability environments
