Responsibilities

ACT engineer would need to provide technical advice and support to Sales Account Manager in BU CA and at the same time providing detail technical advice relevant to catalyst in end user’s plant.

 

ACT engineer in syngas will be required to hold several important responsibilities such as

-           selecting and providing suitable BU CA catalyst to the application required by end user,

-           supporting Sales Account Manager in their sales strategy from technical point of view,

-           act as advisor to end users in installation and activation of our catalyst,

-           coordinate logistic and setup BU CA equipment required for installation,

-           evaluate catalyst performance and provide critical recommendation and advice.

 

Proper catalyst selection and design will ensure commercial is providing reasonable performance guarantee and to avoid potential liabilities to Clariant.

Supervision during installation, activation and evaluation during the run will ensure end users run our product within guideline.


 

Requirements

Bachelor Degree or Master in Chemical Engineering 5 years or more in syngas industry in providing technical support or advice. A deep knowledge to communicate with end users, and ability to lead and respond during on-site support as advisor. Independent and problem-solving attitude can accept moderate travel ~ 30%
