Description We are in the process of recruiting a Sr. AR, Collections, Cash Apps Manager for our client's IT Software team based in Westlake, TX. The primary focus of this role will be to oversee the collections and cash application functions, ensuring that these processes are efficient, effective, and in line with our financial objectives. Responsibilities: • Direct and mentor the collections and cash applications team, encouraging a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. • Design and implement strategic initiatives to enhance collections and cash application processes, aligning with our overall financial goals. • Evaluate current collections and cash application processes, identifying areas for improvement and standardization. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth integration of financial systems and processes from various acquisitions. • Work in collaboration with IT and finance teams to facilitate system upgrades and enhancements that support collections and cash application operations. • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of collections and cash application processes. • Monitor and report on collections performance, offering insights and recommendations to senior management. • Identify potential risks related to credit and collections and devise mitigation strategies to protect our financial interests. • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers to ensure timely collections and resolve disputes. • Develop effective communication strategies to enhance customer experience during the collections process. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in full cycle Accounts Receivable (collections, cash apps, billing) • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems • Extensive knowledge and experience in Accounting Functions • Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) • Proficiency in Billing Functions • Familiarity with Cash Applications • Experience in Billing Collection • Expertise in Collections and Commercial Collections • Proven experience in Collections Management • Knowledge of B2B collections • Familiarity with Accounts Receivables Systems • Strong Leadership Skills • Proficiency in D365, Oracle, and NetSuite software a plus Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
