Full-time onsite position (Sparta, Tennessee)

Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM; either Sun - Thurs or Mon - Fri (candidate preference)

Occasional travel may be required. 

Job Overview: 

The Sr. Human Resources Partner (Sr. HRP) plays a strategic role in supporting and driving the human resources initiatives for the assigned business units. This position partners with leadership and employees to address HR-related challenges, enhance performance, and foster a positive organizational culture. The Sr. HRP will focus on implementing HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives and goals. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Strategic HR Support: 
Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders by providing guidance on HR strategies, organizational development, employee relations, and performance management. Align HR goals with the business needs and objectives. 

Talent Management: 
Collaborate with management to identify talent gaps, develop workforce planning strategies, and implement recruitment plans. Assist in succession planning and retention strategies. 

Employee Relations: 
Serve as a point of contact for employee relations concerns, helping to resolve conflicts, mediate disputes, and ensure a respectful and inclusive workplace. Address employee grievances and ensure compliance with employment laws and policies. 

Performance Management: 
Provide guidance on performance evaluations, feedback, and coaching for employees. Assist managers in setting performance goals, managing underperformance, and driving employee development. 

Learning & Development: 
Partner with the Learning and Development team to identify training and development needs, ensure the delivery of relevant programs, and support career development initiatives for employees. 

Change Management: 
Support organizational change initiatives by advising leadership on effective communication strategies, employee engagement, and minimizing disruption during transitions. 

Compensation and Benefits: 
Provide counsel on compensation and benefits programs, ensuring alignment with business goals. Assist with compensation planning and employee recognition programs. 

HR Metrics & Reporting: 
Monitor and report on HR metrics (e.g., turnover, employee engagement, retention rates) to identify trends and drive improvements. Use data to support decision-making and provide insights into HR processes. 

Compliance and Legal Requirements: 
Ensure adherence to employment laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Stay updated on changes to labor laws and communicate necessary updates to the organization. 

Skills and Qualifications: 

Education: 
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.  

Experience: 
3 to 5 years of HR generalist experience preferred, with at least 2 years in a business partner or strategic HR role. Experience working within manufacturing preferred. 

2 or more years experience with Employee Relations and 2+ years with Investigations experience. 

Knowledge and Skills: 

Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws. 

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions. 

Experience in employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution. 

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

Proven track record in leading organizational change and transformation. 

Technical Proficiency: 

Proficient in HR software (e.g., HRIS, ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite. 

Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

Strong business acumen and the ability to connect HR strategies with organizational goals. 

Approachable, empathetic, and able to build trust with employees and leadership. 

High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
