Job Description Summary

Responsible to support the client’s International Development and Construction Teams to meet the needs of new construction efforts. Provides internal customer service, working to reinforce consistent and Lean practices throughout.

Develop and manage the needed infrastructure to support consistent workflows for the client’s International Development & Construction team. Clear process documentation, partner onboarding, knowledge sharing and data capture will be key focus areas as we identify and track unique regional adaptations across multiple countries. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solving, self-motivated and a process creation champion with demonstrated strengths in removing complexity and friction. This role requires a hands-on proactive process manager who thrives with informed autonomy. The role will partner with our domestic D&C Services and D&C Coordination teams to ensure supported restaurant operational consistency. They must remain up to date on upcoming industry norms and applicable technologies, build relationships, consult with internal partners and direct external consultants through clear communication and engagement.

The main purpose of this role is to provide and manage efficient processes to increase the capacity of the Client’s Development & Construction Lead as well as the consultant partners.

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Expected tasks include, but are not limited to:

Utilize provided resources (playbooks, training materials, co-workers, etc.) to self-solution for often ambiguous tasks, and create documentation of all processes not currently created  Read and understand documents defining project, including but not limited to: agreements, leases, work letters, project charters, surveys, budgets, schedules, and drawingsEstablish and maintain client focus through performance goals, deliverables, reports, and value-added servicesPrepare project status reports, update tracking reports, and maintain filesSource and manage local GC’s and or subcontractors, specialty vendors, architectural, and MEP engineersEnsure all project participants understand project goals, assumptions, constraints, and deliverablesProvide superior client service to internal and external clientsSupport the creation of program resources for the Development and Construction of client international projectsSupport both internal and external client construction partners by providing answers, problem solving and expediting key tasks as they relate to new development and construction projects.Work with the Development and Construction Services (DCS) Team to on-board new partners, providing focused education on processes as neededMicrosoft (non-Sharepoint):Manage personal Outlook account, to include timely response to emails and folder managementWork within Teams for communication and meetingsMay have full ownership and responsibility for smaller, less complex projectsAs directed by DC Services and / or DCC LeadAdditional details will be provided in these instancesMaintain familiarity with processes and procedures within the Development and Construction departments for executing client’s Restaurants.Develop deliverable process, training and communication strategies in order to drive efficient consultant partner workflows.Develop clear workflows and capabilities. Drive reasonable QA/QC process and accountability for individual project locations.Create clear workflow explanation for internal (high-level) and external (technical) communicationEffective coordination with domestic and corporate stakeholdersStay up to date on industry standards as well as advanced workflows and technologies that may provide the client with a competitive advantage

International Nuance 

Awareness of invoicing and payment guidelines (e.g. entity, international coding, tax/retainage requirements, holding letters that need to be provided to partners) Knowledge of different international terms (e.g. report name variations) PO process requires more manual labor and oversight as not fully in Supply Central Knowledge of variations in payment processes by country (wires, check requests, certified check request, bank drafts, letter of credit) Documentation of international nuances for DCC role (Playbook) Able to work across multiple time zones 

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree3+ years of relevant work experience or any similar combination of education and experiencePreferred: Previous understanding or work in field of project management, development or construction commercial field Experience leading and managing numerous facets of multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent interpersonal skillsAttention-to-detail Follow through - Provide updates on project action items to the item owner for completion Proactive and resourceful problem solverAbility to develop and cultivate business relationships with existing and prospective clientsAble to coach new partners and proven track record of influencing internal stakeholders across multiple departmentsProvide superior client service to internal and external clients Ability to manage work with limited oversight Ability to continuously improve and grow in knowledge and capability Ability to holistically look at systems and make proactive process improvement recommendations Proven ability to navigate & work across multiple departments, teams, and initiatives supporting a positive work environment through effective interpersonal skills.Possesses a learning mindset and embraces continuous improvementProcess oriented with the ability to effectively train and direct teams of various skill levels and understandingStrong ability to work independently with wide latitude for unreviewed action & autonomous decision making.Strong communication skills (written, oral, & presentations).
