Sr. Associate, FXMM Accounting

Job Description

Accounting Back Office is responsible for the day-to-day accounting controls. Team operates in close collaboration with Settlement team and other internal function teams (APAC.) to offer client-first post trade services. Team member is generally assigned with two or three Markets.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced FXMM & OTC Derivatives Associate to join our Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for 100% BAU working day-to-day operations of our FXMM and OTC derivatives Accounting business, ensuring that all Accounting Controls and Position are- processed are efficient, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Practical knowledge and thorough understanding of various types of financial instruments (equities, bonds, ETD/OTC derivatives, corporate actions)

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Control of Reconciliation output for cash, securities, and FXMM/derivativesEnsure Manual entry Positing in AT2 is Accurate and processed in timely manner.To perform end of day suspense account clearing for foreign exchange transactionsPerform EOD reconciliations.Troubleshoot potential operational problems and resolve issues.Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related fieldMinimum of 4 years of experience in operations, with at least 2 years in FXMM and OTC derivativesFair knowledge of FXMM and OTC derivatives products and processesStrong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management principlesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
