Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Pega Platform Pega Integration Pega Sizing & Capacity Planning Pega Monitoring & Control Pega Release Management PEGA Performance Tuning and Pega Installation. This role requires expertise in the Finance & Accounting domain. The work model is hybrid and the shift is day. No travel is required.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of Pega solutions to meet business requirements. Oversee Pega integration processes to ensure seamless connectivity with other systems. Provide expertise in Pega Sizing & Capacity Planning to optimize system performance. Monitor and control Pega applications to ensure they are running efficiently. Manage Pega release processes to ensure timely and successful deployments. Perform Pega Performance Tuning to enhance application performance and user experience. Conduct Pega Installation and configuration to set up new environments. Collaborate with Finance & Accounting teams to understand their requirements and provide appropriate Pega solutions. Ensure that Pega applications comply with industry standards and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Pega applications and integrations. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Document technical specifications and processes for future reference. Stay updated with the latest Pega technologies and industry trends to continuously improve solutions.

Qualifications

Must have strong experience in Pega Platform Pega Integration Pega Sizing & Capacity Planning Pega Monitoring & Control Pega Release Management PEGA Performance Tuning and Pega Installation. Must have domain expertise in Finance & Accounting. Should have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Should have strong communication and collaboration skills. Should be able to work independently and as part of a team. Should be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Certifications Required

Certified Pega Senior System Architect (CSSA) or equivalent certification.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until Feb 1, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 - $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
