Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Lead with 7 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Web App Test Metrics and Reporting SNOW Testing Tools and Frameworks Manual E2E BPA Rally HP ALM Jira and Basic Programming. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the highest quality of our software products while adhering to regulatory compliance standards.
Responsibilities
Lead the testing efforts for various web applications ensuring comprehensive coverage and high-quality outcomes.Oversee the creation and execution of test plans test cases and test scripts to validate software functionality.Provide detailed test metrics and reporting to stakeholders ensuring transparency and accountability.Utilize SNOW for tracking and managing test activities and defects ensuring timely resolution.Implement and maintain testing tools and frameworks to streamline the testing process.Conduct manual end-to-end business process automation (BPA) testing to ensure seamless integration and functionality.Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Rally HP ALM and Jira to track progress and manage testing activities.Apply basic programming skills to create automated test scripts and enhance testing efficiency.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines particularly in the context of iRCAS.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testers fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Coordinate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.Identify and mitigate risks associated with testing activities ensuring project timelines are met.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and any issues encountered.Qualifications
Possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in software testing with a focus on web applications.Demonstrate expertise in test metrics and reporting with the ability to provide actionable insights.Have hands-on experience with SNOW Rally HP ALM and Jira for managing test activities.Show proficiency in using various testing tools and frameworks to enhance testing processes.Exhibit strong manual testing skills particularly in end-to-end business process automation.Apply basic programming knowledge to develop and maintain automated test scripts.Understand regulatory compliance requirements and ensure adherence in testing activities.Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Demonstrate leadership abilities to guide and mentor junior testers.Show a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks in testing activities.Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.Be adaptable to a hybrid work model and manage time effectively in a day shift environment.Maintain a continuous improvement mindset always seeking ways to enhance testing processes.The Cognizant community:
