Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 8 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Kafka MQ DevOps SQL Openshift Java 8 Terraform Spring Boot BootStrap Angular JS JSON BPMN SOAP and Maven. Experience in the Industrial Manufacturing domain is a plus. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java 8 Spring Boot and Angular JS.Implement and manage messaging systems using Kafka and MQ.Utilize DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment processes.Design and optimize SQL databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.Deploy and manage applications on Openshift.Create and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.Ensure front-end applications are responsive and user-friendly using BootStrap.Integrate various systems and services using JSON and SOAP.Model business processes using BPMN to improve operational efficiency.Manage project dependencies and build processes using Maven.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.Continuously improve code quality and performance through code reviews and testing.Qualifications
Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in software development.Demonstrate expertise in Kafka MQ DevOps SQL Openshift Java 8 Terraform Spring Boot BootStrap Angular JS JSON BPMN SOAP and Maven.Have experience in the Industrial Manufacturing domain (nice to have).Exhibit strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Show excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Display a proactive approach to learning and adopting new technologies.Maintain a strong focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.Have a solid understanding of software development best practices.Show proficiency in managing and optimizing SQL databases.Exhibit experience in deploying and managing applications on Openshift.Demonstrate the ability to create and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.Show experience in integrating various systems and services using JSON and SOAP.The Cognizant community:
