Job Summary
We are seeking a Lead Quality Engineer with 9 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Jenkins Scrum Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL. Experience in Payments Networks and Cards & Payments domains is a plus. This hybrid role requires a candidate who can work effectively in a day shift without the need for travel.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure high-quality software delivery.Oversee the implementation of automated testing frameworks using tools such as Selenium TestNG and Jenkins.Provide expertise in Java programming to develop and maintain automated test scripts.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers product managers and business analysts to ensure alignment on quality objectives.Utilize Jira for defect tracking test case management and project tracking to ensure transparency and accountability.Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins and Maven to streamline the testing process.Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.Perform database testing using PL/SQL to validate data integrity and accuracy.Participate in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives to ensure effective communication and collaboration.Mentor and guide junior quality engineers to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.Analyze test results identify root causes of defects and work with the development team to resolve issues promptly.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality assurance process to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.Qualifications
Possess strong technical skills in Jenkins Scrum Java TestNG Jira Selenium Maven and PL/SQL.Demonstrate experience in developing and executing automated test scripts using Selenium and TestNG.Exhibit proficiency in Java programming for test automation purposes.Show expertise in using Jenkins and Maven for CI/CD pipeline implementation.Have experience in database testing using PL/SQL.Display familiarity with defect tracking and test case management using Jira.Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Experience in Payments Networks and Cards & Payments domains is a plus.Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve defects.Show ability to mentor and guide junior quality engineers.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools.Exhibit a proactive approach to continuous improvement of the quality assurance process.Work effectively in a hybrid work model with a day shift schedule.Certifications Required
