Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team and play a crucial role in documenting reports across our distribution actuarial finance and sales departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams.


Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with stakeholders from distribution actuarial finance and sales departments to gather and document business requirements for various reports.

2. Analyze existing reporting processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

3. Create comprehensive documentation of business requirements processes and technical metadata for reports used across multiple departments.

4. Develop and maintain a centralized repository of report documentation ensuring it is up-to-date and easily accessible to relevant team members.

5. Work closely with IT and data teams to ensure accurate documentation of technical metadata including data sources transformations and calculations used in reports.

6. Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams to ensure report requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly.

7. Conduct regular reviews of existing report documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance.

8. Assist in the creation of user guides and training materials for report users.

9. Participate in report testing and validation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with business requirements.


Certifications Required

Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
