Sr. Avionics Installer

Summary: Seeking a Sr. Avionics Installer with expertise in installing, modifying, and fabricating wiring and electrical components for aircraft.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two (2) years related work experience; or four (4) years experience in an avionics/electronic career field.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.

Working knowledge of Gulfstream Policies and Procedures manual, Inspection Procedures manual, and pertinent Process Specifications.

Computer keyboard skills necessary.

Preferred Skills:

Job Responsibilities:

Provide work direction to technicians ensuring task completion within allotted time frame.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure on-time delivery of aircraft.

Install/modify/fabricate wiring, electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment per engineering drawings.

Train team members on work assignments.

Contribute to employee development and technique innovations as a skilled specialist.

Assist Engineering in problem resolution and repairs per direction.

Maintain required logs and records.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

Enforce company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and safety regulations.

Check all work for defect-free assembly prior to final inspection.



Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
