**Schedule** : Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5pm EST including Rotating Holidays. No weekends or evenings.
If you are located in New York, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Support day to day operations of team as subject matter expert for department
+ Review staff member assessments and collaborate with medical peers to determine appropriate levels of care
+ Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
+ Review cases and analyze clinical information in conjunction with medical directors to determine the appropriateness of hospitalization
+ Manage escalated concerns/cases to resolution

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Licensed clinician with a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Marriage or Family Counseling, or an RN with 2 years of experience in behavioral health
+ Licenses must be active and unrestricted to practice at the independent level in your state of residence
+ 3+ years of post-Master’s experience working with children in a related mental health environment
+ Proficient Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
+ Dedicated office space and access to high-speed internet service
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Clinical license in the state of New York
+ Inpatient experience
+ Dual diagnosis experience with mental health and substance abuse
+ 1+ years experience working within a Managed Care Organization (MCO)
+ Experience working in an environment that required coordination of benefits and utilization of multiple groups and resources for patients
+ Experience working with children/adolescents
+ Experience working with the Medicaid or Medicare patient population
+ Experience working in a remote position

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
