Job Summary
As the Sr. Benefits Partner, you will have a direct impact on enhancing the Team Member value proposition and play a significant role in improving the Team Member experience as it relates to the benefit programs offered by Giant Eagle. This role will support the Director, Benefits on strategy execution, project management, benefit communications, and driving Team Member engagement and education. The Benefits Partner will work closely with the benefit team subject matter experts to support key projects and initiatives.THIS IS A HYBRID WORKMODEL POSITION, REQUIRED IN OFFICE 3X PER WEEK AT OUR CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP HQ
Job Description
Experience Required: 3 to 5 years work experience in a benefits related roleEducation Desired: Bachelors Degree, HR or related fieldExperience Required: MS Office Suite(specifically Excel and PPP at an intermediate level)Previous project management experience, including RPF/RFQPrevious experience managing open enrollment processJob Responsibilities
Work with Director of Benefits to cultivate a whole-picture perspective and develop a holistic, creative approach to drive benefit program engagement and improve the overall Team Member experience across all benefit plansPlan, draft, and partner with our internal communications team and vendor partners to execute operational, strategic, and inspirational Team Member benefit communications; develop and maintain a 12-month benefit communications plan; develop and maintain benefit enrollment guides and other benefit plan materialsMonitor and analyze benefit plan utilization metrics to identify opportunities to improve team member communications and drive education and engagementDemonstrate impeccable written and verbal communications skills with the ability to translate complex information into easy-to-understand, engaging communication material for a variety of channels and target audiencesLead project related work, demonstrating a proactive, collaborative and problem-solving approach; work in partnership with benefit team colleagues and effectively delegate as needed to ensure all project tasks and deadlines are met; integrate change management activities into project plansResearch and evaluate benefit plan trends and solutions, making recommendations that align with current market and best practicesAssist in the evaluation, selection and implementation of new benefit vendorsLead the planning and execution of annual benefits open enrollmentProvide elevated customer service for Team Members and vendor partnersSupport the overall initiatives of the Benefits department, as neededAbout Us
