Sr. Building Engineer

Our client, a leader in the engineering and maintenance industry, is seeking a Sr. Building Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Building Engineer, you will be part of the Facilities Management department supporting the operational excellence of the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to maintenance which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Sr. Building Engineer
**Location:** Longmont, CO
**Pay Range:** **$35/hr. - $40/hr.**
**What's the Job?**
+ Manage repairs and preventive maintenance around the facility.
+ Schedule and oversee the completion of maintenance tasks.
+ Monitor building system operations and performance under limited supervision.
+ Inspect building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire alarms.
+ Respond quickly to emergency situations and perform assigned repairs.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or GED with a minimum of four years of related experience.
+ Universal CFC certification is required; Universal EPA license is preferred.
+ Experience with building automation and CMMS systems.
+ Heavy mechanical experience, particularly with chiller and boiler systems.
+ Ability to perform various trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
