The Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) Sort Center Labor Planning team is looking for a highly skilled and motivated leader to join our team to lead a group of talented analysts responsible for centralized labor planning for our sort centers. The ATS Sort Center is a part of Amazon’s middle mile delivery network and one of the fastest growing operations areas in the company. It is comprised of a network of Sortation Centers that move packages from Fulfillment Centers to our final mile partners.
As a (Senior) Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the long-term planning. This role will be responsible for partnering with multiple stakeholders to forecast the business needs for the next 3 years. A critical part of this role is to develop stable models and to be able to take the stabilized models to the next level from an automation standpoint. This role requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with Operations, Finance, Recruiting, and HR stakeholders in a high-pressure environment. You will manage a high-visibility program and partner with all levels of leadership to exercise sound judgment where clear guidelines may not exist.
Key job responsibilities
• Own the development and maintenance of new and existing solution artifacts which are focused on driving efficiency within the business via analysis, metrics and reporting dashboards
• Partner with operations/business teams to consult, develop and implement KPI's, automated reporting/process solutions, and process improvements to meet business needs.
• Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.
• Prepare and deliver business requirements reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks.
• Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions.
• Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support our business needs.
