Overview Gallagher Bassett is seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst that will serve as the liaison between the customer community and the technical development team. This person will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying, verifying, and managing the business needs of the project stakeholders, including customers and end users. The successful candidate will work closely with business units, subject matter experts and technical resources to identify business needs, define projects, develop requirements and manage the development effort to completion. How you'll make an impact Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis. Define and document internal and external user interfaces and support system and data requirement clarification and definition. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and decompose high-level information into details. Work with functional leads to transform and develop new requirements into design and implementation. Create and maintain workflows, approval processes, and validation rules based on internal stakeholder requirements. Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. Assist in quality assurance and defining testing strategy and risks. About You Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key business partners by building personal credibility and trust. Ability to partner with internal and external peer groups to design and implement solutions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Excellent active listening and verbal communication skills, strong business writing ability, flexible and adaptable attitude, can conform to shifting priorities and demands REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education and experience Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision and with other department personnel Must have solid verbal and written communication, organization, and time management skills Must be "self-motivated" as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems 3+ years of experience in a BSA role Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workload. Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate with colleagues in both business and technical roles.
