Job Summary

Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Business Analyst with experience developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications.

You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Our engineers are agile and retrospective, and not afraid to identify what we’re doing wrong, so we can fix it, and what we’re doing right, so we can improve on it. Above all, we judge success by the success of our team and the happiness of our customers.

Location: Charlotte, NC Key Responsibilities

· Conduct thorough business and system analysis to identify and document requirements for various projects.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather analyze and validate business needs and requirements.

· Develop detailed business analysis plans to ensure project objectives are met.

· Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making processes.

· Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including business requirements functional specifications and process flows.

· Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity on project goals.

Professional Experience / Qualifications:

· Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in Business & System Analysis and Business Analysis & Planning.

· Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically.

· Have experience in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain which is highly desirable.

· Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

· Show proficiency in creating detailed documentation and reports to support business analysis activities.

· Demonstrate experience in conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions are ready for deployment.
