Responsibilities Own the development and implementation of data analysis projects using Python Scala Bigdata Hadoop. Oversee the application of statistical methods to analyze and interpret sophisticated data sets. Provide expertise to improve data-driven decision-making processes. Use Python for developing and deploying machine learning models. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements. Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data by performing detailed data validation and cleansing. Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows. Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends patterns and insights. Present findings and recommendations to team members in a clear and concise manner. Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning technologies. Mentor junior data scientists and provide guidance on standard methodologies. Give to the continuous improvement of data science methodologies and processes. Support the integration of data science solutions into existing systems and platforms. Qualifications Must have strong experience with Databricks PySpark and Apache Hadoop. Must have expertise in statistical analysis and data interpretation. Nice to have experience in the Cards & Payments domain. Must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Must have strong communication and presentation skills. Must have the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model. Must have a proactive and self-motivated approach to work. Must have the ability to lead multiple projects and priorities. Must have a strong understanding of data validation and cleansing techniques. Must have experience with developing and maintaining data pipelines. Must have the ability to mentor and guide junior team members. Must have a dedication to continuous learning and improvement. Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 01/31/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $[95,000 – 109,000 USD] depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
