Job Description
We are seeking a Sr. Business Analyst who is motivated by variety, is seeking a challenging environment for professional growth, and is interested in supporting large information technology projects. The Business Analyst should have strong domain knowledge of enterprise budget solutions, experience leading workshops, and skilled at engaging stakeholders. The Enterprise Budget Management Solution Enhancement Project’s primary goals are to migrate the current budget solution to the cloud, improve business budgetary processes, and close the tool feature gap to meet user needs.
ResponsibilitiesAnalyze current and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems.Coordinate with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, and input data acquisition.Execute user acceptance and coordinate testing and system controls.Work independently on larger, moderately complex projects and assignments.Assist other technical staff with tasks and assignments.Address somewhat complex technical issues/problems using internal best practices and collaboration with colleagues.Develop solutions to technical problems that require depth of technical knowledge but are typically limited in complexity.Communicate with colleagues across multiple areas such as project managers and other technical resources.Explain technical solutions, practices, and procedures to others within the organization.Essential SkillsMinimum of 7 years of business analysis experience implementing technology and business projects.In-depth budgetary knowledge.Experience with business process modeling, workflows, and data analysis.Demonstrated experience of cloud migration and/or replacement of legacy systems.Knowledge of data mining, data modeling, benchmarking, market analysis, Oracle, process modeling, and scope modeling.Ability to create user stories.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience leading workshops.Skilled at engaging stakeholders.Work Environment
This position is located in Seattle, WA, and is 100% remote. However, occasional travel to the office for special meetings may be required. Candidates in the Seattle area are preferred but not necessary.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $47.25/hr.
