Sr. Business Development Representative- LSP

Overview

In this Sr. Business Development Role, you will be predominantly Prospect focused, owning the outreach & Go-To-Market strategy execution within your named accounts. Operating with a creative and entrepreneurial mindset, driving interactions, building & nurturing relationships. Your goal will be to build a solid and sustainable sales pipeline across the breadth of Blue Yonder’s market leading portfolio and platform.To enable you to deliver success, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with key functions including Marketing, Sales, Alliances, Industry Strategy and our Solution Advisory practice. Not to mention being part of a highly skilled & motivated NA Business Development team.

What You’ll Do:

Use prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects and build relationships with key decision makers at targeted accounts (C levels)Collect & analyze potential customer’s critical business needs and challenges, identify and qualify their budget, timelines, business issues and obstacles for hand off to appropriate sales individual.Determine prospect’s interest and make recommendations on appropriate Blue Yonder product and services optionsWork the assigned territory and cover as many contacts as possibleParticipate in the sales opportunity reviews and reach out and collaborate with the appropriate Account Managers in your territoryAchieve quarterly lead generation goals set by sales managementCommunicate effectively with sales management in-person, via phone, e-mail and regular updates in the systemUse independent judgment to qualify and validate inbound and outbound leads via the phone, web, email, corporate events and direct mail campaignsUse independent judgment to create, analyze and execute pre-packaged multi-part marketing and lead-generation programsTrack relevant sales activities & admin in the sales system (e.g. call activity, lead qualification details, lead pipeline, opportunity pipeline) to aid in maintaining communications within salesUse professional experience to overcome objections and effectively communicate BY’s value propositions to key decision makers regarding appropriate BY product offeringsActively participate in the innovation of new techniques and strategies for marketing BY’s products in order to secure new accounts

What we are looking for:

Minimum 3 years inside sales/telemarketing w/ experience in the software industryPersonable, outgoing, helpful, able to initiate conversation and communications in an engaging mannerProven track record of exceptional lead generation resultsExperience working in a team sales environmentAble to handle projects with minimal directionKnowledge of SFA/CRM/Contact Manager software required; experience with Salesloft and Salesforce.com a plus3PL (Logistics Service Providers) experience a HUGE plusSuperior oral and written communication skillsMinimal travel required

The base salary range for this position is: $ 65,000.00 - $70,000.00 USD

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
