Job Description:

The Sr. Business Management Specialist (Credit Trainer) is responsible for developing and conducting credit training programs and supporting process improvements within the multi-disciplined Commercial Credit Management division and building a robust process infrastructure. This job provides program status reports and presentations to the corporate leadership team, conducts stage gate reviews as necessary and required, as well as providing credit knowledge, skill, and experience to support design and delivery of learning and development programs. Additionally, the role requires coordinating with various partners to create appropriate Credit Management communications.

The Sr Business Mgmt Specialist leads a significant business management function and/or strategy planning, oversight, control or governance activities for highly complex / high risk / transformational (change the bank) / strategic initiatives, liaises across the organization and primarily interfaces with executive and/or functional stakeholders.

Depth & Scope:

Generally accountable for a significant business management area that typically has enterprise wide impact or accountabilityEnterprise or functional expert, requiring broad managerial and deep specialized knowledge at the enterprise, business, regulatory and industry levelsUndertakes and completes a variety of complex initiatives requiring seasoned specialist knowledge and/or the integration of cross functional processesPosition typically deals with senior/executive managementFocus on longer-range planning for functional area (e.g. 12 months or greater)May manage and prioritize multiple projects at a given time


Education & Experience:

Undergraduate degree10+ years relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Commercial underwriting experienceStrong understanding of nCino Strong understanding of commercial business development techniques, risk assessment, and credit decision-makingDemonstrates strong communication skills, both verbal and writtenDemonstrates PC skills
