Sr. Business Operations Manager

This position serves as the conduit between our 3PL Client Services team and shared services (SS) teams (other indirect suppliers as required). The individual will be responsible for partnering with multiple teams such as underwriting, contract management, accounts receivable, etc. to develop sustainable / scalable processes and create SLA’s that drive transparency and accountability. The manager will partner with respective teams to conduct regular cadence meetings, present performance-based metrics and facilitate action planning when needed.   This position is largely internally focused but may have client facing responsibility from time to time.

In addition to managing the shared services relationships, this individual will own the creation and monitoring of various business critical process flows (ie. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) flows between shared services and internal client services support teams). This will entail spending time with key stakeholders across the process to clearly map current flows/value streams, identify areas of opportunity, and develop solutions. The Manager, Business Operations will own and maintain all process/value stream maps, control mechanisms and SOP’s tied to the areas supported.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as liaison between the 3PL business and shared services teams Create SLA’s between 3PL business & shared services teams to improve performanceServe as conduit between 3PL Business and SS teamsFacilitate individual SS team cadence callsOwn relationships with respective shared services teamsDrive transparency between teams by providing regular business updates and pipeline forecasts to ensure all parties are alignedOwn internal workflows between all stakeholders to ensure efficiency that drives desirable client experienceDevelop an overarching map of key communication channels and the tools that are used to facilitate this communicationIdentify missing or broken processesDevelop solutions or identify new tools to close identified gaps and streamline overall internal communicationsPerformance monitoring & reporting for cross-functional team workflowsDevelop monitoring tools that allow for management level visibility into request types and volumes across client services teamsDrive awareness around operational gaps within the business

Preferred industry experience: third party logistics, pharmaceutical distribution, PBM, and/or distribution, finance or operationsLean and Six Sigma experience a plusProject management experience a plusStrong organization and management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects/tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently as well collaboratively in a team environment

Minimum Qualifications:

 Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$94,100 - $156,900
