SummaryThis role leads the Simplot Grower Solutions (SGS) Financial Planning and Analysis team. The SGS FP&A team is responsible for the consolidation, analysis, and effective communication of the financial information regarding SGS and for all finance business partnering activities related to that line of business including but not limited to incentive planning and analytics, ensuring systems and tools are maintained in accordance with the evolution of the organization, and ensuring compliance with all relevant controls and accounting procedures. The team facilitates the financial planning process for SGS for four geographic regions, and is responsible for consolidating and analyzing that plan as an input to resource allocation decisions for the AgriBusiness Division, and as trusted advisors to the entire SGS organization. In addition to these core responsibilities, this person is the overall point of contact for all finance activities related to SGS, facilitating work across Technology and Data Science, Corporate Finance and Treasury, and Corporate Controllership teams. This team is accountable for a complex business data and analytics environment used by sales and operations team members throughout the SGS network for decision making and analysis on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities Leads the SGS FP&A teams in the execution and continuous improvement of financial planning for SGS. This includes ongoing efforts to improve process standardization and improving the quality of analysis, and the relevant communication of those plans to all stakeholders Participate in the development and adoption of new technologies Participate in financial statement reviews and analysis of financial results partnering with JR Simplot Company’s Controllership organization Prepare for and facilitate financial review meetings through each planning cycle Define and lead improvement efforts related to operational finance activities for SGS in partnership with corporate finance teams, including Accounts Payable, Credit Management and financing, and overall compliance with accounting policies and procedures Active member of AgriBusiness Finance leadership team, and important stakeholder/participant in developing strategy, policies and procedures across the finance function for the company as a whole Typical Education
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university
Master’s degree (M.A. or M.S.) or equivalent (not essential but strongly encouraged)
Relevant Experience10+ years related experience and/or training
