About the Location Hybrid Position: This position may be considered Hybrid based on PetSmart’s FlexSmart policy and business needs. A Hybrid work arrangement is considered to be a blend of onsite and remote work activity. Associates with a Hybrid work arrangement have a work space at Phoenix Home Office and can be required to come onsite between 1-5 days a week as determined by leadership and based on business needs. About the Job POSITION SUMMARY: The Sr. Business Systems Analyst is a key member of the Solutions team, focused on creating effective and scalable solutions that support PetSmart’s Supply Chain. In this role you will support and enhance PetSmart’s Supply Chain through daily interaction with a broad array of peers, customers, vendors, partners, and software systems. The role ensures that Supply Chain systems are in place to effectively drive the company’s strategy by enhancing, maintaining, and serving as a Functional System Administrator for WMS applications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze supply chain business processes, identify areas for improvement and provide sustainable systematic recommendations to optimize efficiencies and effectiveness Develop and implement project plans and strategies required to solution identified areas of improvement while creating KPIs to determine projects’ effectiveness Leveraging SQL knowledge to create actionable insights to DC teams Serves as subject matter expert in WM applications for supporting cross functional projects as well as day to day support Travel up to 25% to support projects, training, and/or process analysis SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Retailing or equivalent experience is preferred. 5+ years’ experience is required in relevant and related positions in systems functionality and or applicable analytical processes and understanding. Thorough knowledge of supply chain management strategies and concepts preferred. Qualified candidates are passionate about leading efforts to resolve cross-departmental issues, often involving in-depth root cause analysis and innovative solution design Demonstrated success in change management within a performance-oriented organization.
