Description Our client is seeking a Senior Buyer with strong expertise in procurement processes and advanced knowledge of Oracle software to join their growing team. The Senior Buyer will play a pivotal role in managing sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and procurement operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and cost-effective purchasing practices. Key Responsibilities: + Manage and execute the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and contracting with suppliers. + Leverage Oracle software to manage procurement operations, maintain accurate records, and produce reporting analytics that support decision-making. + Develop and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services at the best cost and quality. + Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to assess supply needs, provide procurement solutions, and ensure business requirements are met. + Conduct cost-benefit analyses and market research to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. + Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory standards. + Monitor and analyze vendor performance, negotiate terms of agreements, and evaluate potential new suppliers. + Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices in procurement and supply chain processes. Requirements Required Skills & Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. + A minimum of 5 years of procurement, supply chain, or buying experience. + Proficiency in Oracle procurement/purchasing software is required. + Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. + Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. + Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Familiarity with procurement policies, procedures, and best practices. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications: + Procurement certification (e.g., CPP, CPSM, or CIPS certification) is a plus. + Experience within [insert specific industry, e.g., manufacturing, retail, or tech, if applicable]. + Experience implementing or upgrading Oracle procurement systems.
