Description We are seeking a Sr. Buyer to join our team in the manufacturing industry in Bloomington, Minnesota, 55439, United States. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Sr. Buyer, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities including handling buying processes, interacting with ERP Solutions, and maintaining communication channels effectively. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage buying processes and operations within the manufacturing unit • Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly Epicor, to manage and streamline buying processes • Ensure effective communication with various departments to understand and fulfill their purchasing needs • Handle accounting functions related to buying processes, including managing Accounts Payable (AP) • Utilize 'About Time' software for effective time management and scheduling of buying processes • Leverage your skills in 'Chef' software to manage and automate infrastructure • Engage with SAP systems to manage business operations and customer relations • Monitor and update customer credit records as part of the purchasing process.
