Detailed Job Description:

Remote during Covid.  After Covid, limited travel to East and West coast facilities to access infrastructure, provide feedback to the manager.    Need 10-15 years senior Cisco Engineering experience with strong knowledge of infrastructure. Prefer candidates to have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology or equivalent experience. Must have Cisco certification(s) in CCNA and understanding of SD-WAN. Expenses reimbursed for travel. Reliable knowledge about Cisco Internetworks and strong background in migrating sites.  Cisco Engineer will conceive and deploy computer networks, which have been created using products from Cisco. The primary tasks of this engineer is to establish networks, extend network support, besides detecting and addressing persisting issues. They will work in a team to implement and help networks and end-users. It is, therefore, imperative that Cisco network engineers possess solid analytical skills along with competent communication skills. Their work entails them to be available round-the-clock and throughout the year. Must have understanding of how different networks communicate among themselves to give rise to a secured network. Engineers must be able to understand how complex networks work and identify problems, besides advising on how to improve them. They should be well versed with security, virtualization, containers, storage engineering, and wide area networking (WAN). They must create a dependable optimally functioning network, which integrates the Internet, Intranet, LAN, and WAN sections, involving network designing and analysis.
