Pay range:   $108k - $135k based on experience

Hospice nurses provide end of life care to help ensure the comfort and quality of life for their patients.  They primarily work in collaborative, team-driven environments that require frequent communication with their patients, families and other caregivers.  The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, patient and calm.  Hospice nurses are caring and kind individuals who possess a special hospice heart who can help our patients celebrate the rest of their life’s journey.  

Responsibilities Hours of operation:  8:30am - 5pm JOB SUMMARY

 

Assists the Director of Admissions in the administrative management of the Admissions Department making decisions as outlined by established standards, policies and procedures.Serves as a professional leader of the Admissions Department. Serves as liaison between the Admissions Department and other areas of the organization.

 

Qualifications

 

Education/Regulatory Requirements:RN degree from a college or university, accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing and/or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.Florida licensed RN.BSN preferred.Skills:One year experience in a leadership role or demonstrated capability of same required.Computer literate.Flexible, creative, assertive, articulate, nurturing and self-nurturing.Homecare Homebase software experience a plus.Professional Requirements:Effective oral and written communication skills.Ability to develop and apply effective customer service skills.Demonstrates organizational, administrative and personnel management skills.Ability to work well under stress and with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.Language Skills:Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
