Abacus Technology is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to oversee and support technical projects at Tinker AFB.  This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities Perform risk identification, planning and mitigation activities for capability development planning, rapid prototyping, rapid fielding; and other acquisition programs or activities.Create and maintain for the Government staff one or more fully attributed schedules including dependencies, successors, milestones, inch stones, personnel resourcing and equipment resourcing including slack, lag and lead time in a manner consistent with the PMBOK.Integrate multiple project schedules into an overall division, directorate, enterprise or program-wide IMS for use by the Government staff.Maintain, analyze and brief the schedule using the tracking Gantt chart format and shall apply the critical chain method of scheduling when project duration acceleration is needed to meet mission objectives.Analyze schedules to identify possible and experienced risks including the probability and impact of occurrence of schedule risks.Identify the schedule opportunities and threats if the program manager accepts increased risk during programmatic execution instead of the traditional low or no risk acceptance levels.Serve as the assigned program/organization’s subject matter expert on Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), IMS and IMP techniques.Write, review, edit, update and otherwise maintain related project management documentation including issues logs and risk logs.Perform project initiation, planning, execution, controlling and closing tasks for division projects or programs as required.Provide advice and coaching on project management matters and methods to non-traditional contractors as required.Review CDRL submissions and provide analysis including program status, funds status, risk concerns and submission quality.Assist the Government staff with the execution of various assigned project and program management as well as administrative management activities, including but not limited to, the creation, editing, maintenance or distribution of project or program documentation, participation in project or program meetings and complying with reporting requirements.Support organizational actions during the creation, testing and execution of the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) and other emergency plans including readiness exercises executed at the direction of the 88th Air Base Wing, AFLCMC or AFMC Commanders or Mobility and Training Aircraft Directorate leadership. Qualifications

15+ years experience in project management including at least 5 years in a DoD environment.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Must be PMP certified.  Experience with all aspects of the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) and incorporating it into science and technology efforts, capability development planning, rapid prototyping, rapid fielding and other acquisition programs or activities including those conducted with non-traditional contractors.  Expert time-management skills are needed due to the complexity and quantity of projects.  Must be process oriented and able to adhere to defined procedural guidance.  Must have initiative and ability to drive projects to success and prioritize multiple high-visibility tasks.  Able to tailor technical communications, both verbally and written to audiences possessing a varying degree of IT experience and knowledge.  Must work well both independently and with other project managers and stakeholders.  Experience with advanced utilization of various Microsoft applications such as Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft 365.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
