Our client, a mission-driven leader in DC's education community, is seeking a Sr. Communications Manager to join the organization as an integral team leader!

About the Job:

Serve as a strategic leader in preparing and implementing strategic communications plans.Oversee a support team, managing projects and collaborating across departments.Write and edit copy for various outlets including internal and external communications, social media, blog posts, press releases, and more.Pull reports and analyze data to more strategically utilize partners and execute campaigns.Prepare press releases and maintain/build media relationships.Manage special projects that arise, including any crisis communications needs.

About You:

A bachelors degree is required for this role.7+ years of hands-on communications experience, with 3+ years of managing a team.Mission-driven with a drive for collaboration and communications.Impeccable writing skills with a passion for branding and messaging.Strong project manager with a high-level of detail orientation and ability to prioritize.

About the Position:
