Overview of the role:
Hartford Funds has an exciting opportunity to join the Human Resources team as a Sr. Compensation Analyst. In this role, you will help support the business in the in the areas of compensation, reporting and data analysis to ensure compensation and other HR programs effectively recognize and reward both company and individual performance and impact.
Responsibilities:
Lead compensation survey submission and review processLiaise with The Hartford’s (parent company) compensation team regarding on-going compensation and benefits programs, communications, and compensation best practicesCoordinate employee changes and compensation administration with Workday teamGather data from market-based compensation surveys; assess results and market trendsManage all administrative elements of the long-term incentive (LTI) program with the third-party stock plan administrator, payroll, and other parent company counterpartsAssist with year-end compensation planning (merit, bonus and LTI) efforts including testing and administration of relevant systemsCreate and update education materials associated with Hartford Funds’ recognition and reward programsPerform ad hoc reporting for the HR team and business, including compensation history and other HR related metricsIdentify and address emerging compensation trends for the asset management industry Assist with the design and administration of sales compensation plansPartner and consult with business and HRBP’s to analyze salary and incentive programs aligned with competitive conditions and business objectivesConduct competitive analyses as necessary to ensure the on-going integrity of existing structures, policies, and practicesCoordinate annual pay equity analysisMaintain a database of HR responses to RFP requests and coordinate with the RFP team on data requestedQualifications:
A minimum of three years of broad-based compensation, sales compensation or related experience requiredExperience with Workday requiredAsset management industry experience strongly preferredStrong consultative skills, able to gain trust and confidenceAbility to manage multiple projects, while delivering resultsDemonstrated teamwork and collaboration skillsStrong analytical skills requiredKnowledge of regulations and issues impacting compensationExcellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skillsStrong business acumen to assess applicability, benefits, and challenges of various compensation structuresBachelor’s degreeCompensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
