What to Expect

Works closely with other engineering technicians and engineers to develop an expert level of understanding of our products, systems and equipment to design, build, test, maintain and repair them.  Promotes and contributes to the development of product knowledge throughout the organization and the training of other engineering technicians.  Design and develop cable/wire harness needed for system/electrical designs. Rework cable/wire harness for electrical testing/debugging. Soldering components for PCBA Prototype testing and performing component rework for debugging.  Provide technical support to operations on a variety of technical tasks.  Responsible for supporting the manufacture and performance of assigned product line(s).  Responsible for supporting the transfer of products to production and supporting sustaining activities.  Standardize policies, procedures and standards incorporating internal and industry best practices.  Accountable for the creation, review, correction, enhancement of drawings and documentation to meet or exceed internal and external requirements.  Accountable for the identification, diagnosis, prioritization, and correction of technical issues.  Implement and track solid corrective actions to reduce defects and failures or optimize and streamline manufacturing process. 

 

What We Expect 

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Advanced ability to read, interpret and create drawings. Operation of test instruments (oscilloscopes, multimeters, analyzers, etc.) Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing methods/processes, procedures, quality improvement and cost-reduction techniques. Ability to analyze a situation or data; evaluate relevant identifiable factors and translate information into a meaningful proposal or action plan. Advanced troubleshooting skills. Ability to work on and transition easily between multiple simultaneous projects. Exceptional soldering skills and problem solving to determine best reworks, and debug ability including read PCB schematics and layouts. CAD experience. Soldering certification.

 

 

Qualifications: 

Education

Preferred Minimum Non-Technical Degree: High School (H.S./GED) or Associate Degree

Experience         

Preferred Minimum Non-Technical Degree: 5+ Years 

Advanced knowledge of MS Office

The annualized base salary range for this role is $57,100 - $85,600 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
